Driven by the late '80s philosophy "less is more" Carvin makes DC125, one of the best performance oriented models. It features only one humbucker in the bridge position which comes with only a volume knob. This setup is combined with a top quality double cutaway body made of alder wood. There are no top wood covers, bindings or pickguards, as Carvin opted for bare necessities approach. Bridge section is equipped with the basic DC series option, fixed bridge with string-through construction. Also, there are more advanced variants available, such as tremolos and Floyd Rose bridges. Neck is made of hard rock maple and it runs through the entire length of the body. fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with 24 medium jumbo sized frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut.

I've owned this guitar since the late 80's and the only mod I've done is a pickup swap. Carvin quality is second to none. During that era, every guitar was hand built.
