DC727 is a neck-through constructed double cutaway guitar with a body made of alder. Top options range from regular flamed maple to some exotic and exclusive ones. Tops are carved, finished in gloss and free of pickguards. In the bridge section, starting option is a hardtail fixed bridge with string-through construction, though upgrades are possible. In the pickups area 727 sports a pair of humbuckers. these pickups are made by Carvin and they come with master volume, master tone, two coil-splitting mini-switches and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is made of hard rock maple and is equipped with through-body construction. Fingerboard comes mainly made of ebony, though maple and other options are also available. 24 frets, 14" radius, 1.91" wide string nut and dot inlays complete all fingerboard options.
