ST300 is a model from Carvin`s Custom Shop series. It comes with a standard double cutaway shaped body made of alder. Basic variant features no top woods, but they can be ordered. nevertheless, the top is finished in high gloss. In the bridge section, the basic option is a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction, though various hardtail, tremolo and Floyd Rose bridges are available. In the pickups compartment Carvin installs a pair of humbuckers which come with a simple and straight forward controls unit: master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch, which is also a coil splitter. Hard rock maple neck features through-body construction and it is covered with an ebony fingerboard. 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut wrap the fingerboard specs.
