Rob Chapman, the owner and main spokesperson of Chapman Guitars is also the brand`s premier signature artist. Thus far, there were two Rob Chapman models introduced and ML-3 RC is the second one (the first is mighty Ghost Fret). ML-3 RC is a modern take on the classic Tele concept, oriented towards hard rock/metal players. Solid and single-cut body of this beefed up Tele is made of mahogany. It`s chambered and has a contoured lower cutaway for easier access to upper frets. Set-through mahogany neck is thin, fast and finished in satin. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is found on its top. Seymour Duncan`s stacked humbuckers might look Tele-ish, but are in fact ferocious metal machines. Fortunately, coil-split function makes the ML-3 RC one of the best all-rounders out there. Modern Tele-style tray bridge and Grover tuners complete this six-string beast.
