DC-1 ST is a fixed-bridge variant of the DC-1 FR model from the Desolation series. This is one of the best metal oriented series released in past several years. Great tonewood quality, exceptional hardware (especially pickups) selection and Charvel`s signature build quality give this series a lot of strength and potential. DC-1 ST comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple top. Standard color palette is assigned to this exceptional six-stringer. Both gloss and satin finishes are available. Two-piece bridge section is fit with a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and stoptail bar in the back. EMG 81 is in the bridge and 85 is in the neck position. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
