CL Deluxe comes as the flagship of the Solid Body series of electric guitars from Collings. It features top shelf materials and aesthetic appointments in addition to standard tonal performance of Collings models which ranks among the best in the industry. CL Deluxe comes with a solid, single cutaway body made of mahogany back and carved flamed maple top. Grained ivoroid binding and high gloss finish adorn the top. The bridge is a tune-o-matic. it is paired with a stoptail bar. In the pickups area, Lollar provides a pair of active humbuckers. They are controlled through split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. Mortise & tenon joint connects the neck to the body. Rosewood fingerboard comes with 22 frets, dot position inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" string nut.
