CR line is there for Les Paul fans who want an LP but with a little bit different, Cort flavor. Its lineup now features a brand new starter model - the basic CR50.
CR50 kicks off with a solid and flat LP body made of agathis and a bolt-on neck made of hard Canadian maple. Agathis yields a warm tone similar to mahogany, but is quite a bit lighter. Though beneficial to the player`s shoulders and backs, it makes for a neck-heavy guitar. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and 12" radius is a pretty common occurrence even in the beginner class.
Pair of Powersound PSLP-1 humbuckers delivers a high-gain tone ideal for beginners interested in rock and hard rock styles. Two-piece bridge and die-cast tuners wrap a pretty decent specs list.
