G100 is among the basic models of the G range, ranking in the class of basic Yamaha Pacifica models and Squier Bullet Strat. The main target for this super-available double-cut are beginners and players who want an inexpensive substitute/practice axe.
G100 starts off with a solid and double-cut meranti body (offset waist, big plastic pickguard on top, contoured back), maple neck (C profile, bolt-on joint, "skunk stripe") and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 12" radius, medium frets, 25-1/2" scale, 1.65" nut). Available color options include Openpore Black, Openpore Black Cherry and Openpore Walnut (all three equipped with nickel hardware and white plastics).
Major hardware and electronics features include a string-through hardtail bridge, die-cast Cort tuners and Powersound single-coil pickups.
