Cort`s X and KX series are sibling series (X features tremolo bridges, KX fixed) which offer modern, affordable take on the ubiquitous Superstrat/Soloist concept. Both series were redesigned and refreshed for 2018, receiving a total of nine models (five in X line, four in KX). KX300 is the second-most expensive model of the fixed-bridge KX series (topped only by KX500FF). It is an affordable six-string metal axe with a fixed bridge, available in Open Pore Raw Burst and Open Pore Cobalt Burst (white binding, chrome hardware, black headstock). Main construction features include a solid mahogany body w/spalt maple top, a hard maple neck (smooth finish, fast contour), a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard, string-thru-body hardtail bridge, zebra-coiled EMG RetroActive pickups, and die-cast tuners.
