KX257B is the only baritone-scaled, as well as 7-stringed model in the new KX series lineup. Price-wise, it will be located between the series-opening KX100 and the intermediate KX300 (the classification is series-dependent). Main construction features include a solid and double-cut mahogany body (characteristic X/KX series beveled top, no binding, no pickguard), a hard maple neck (series` standard profile, smooth finish, four-bolt neck joint), a 24-fret fingerboard made of jatoba (jumbo-sized frets, offset triangle inlays, 27" baritone scale, 15.75" radius), a string-through hardtail bridge w/seven adjustable saddles, EMG`s RetroActive Super77-7 humbuckers, and die-cast tuners.
