X250 is a brand new 2018 model, a member of X series` revamped lineup. It is the most affordable entry with a locking bridge and three-pickup electronics unit. The new 250 six-stringer will come in three modern, vibrant variants - Tear Drop Pink, Kona Blue, and Black. All three will feature gloss finish on body & neck, black hardware, black headstock, and black plastics. Unfortunately, Cort hasn`t unveiled the price tag on this one, though it is safe to assume it will be in the same price class as the previous X series affordable models. Main construction features include a solid meranti body, hard maple neck, 24-fret jatoba fingerboard (15.75" radius, offset dot inlays, 25-1/2" scale, jumbo frets), Cort`s licensed double-locking trem bridge, EMG pickups, and die-cast tuners.
