JEM series is the longest-running Ibanez signature series; it belongs to Steve Vai, the man who pushed the perception of what can be done with a guitar back in the 1980s. Also, Steve and Ibanez helped shape the blueprint of a modern metal guitar through the JEM project. Thirty years later, JEM is still the most populous and the most popular signature line made by Ibanez. The new JEMJRSP is one of two Junior JEM options featured in the current series lineup. Model highlights include a flat-top mahogany body (characteristic pickguard, monkey grip), a maple neck (Wizard III profile, recessed bolt-on joint), a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (tree of life inlay, jumbo-sized frets, 1.69" nut, 25.5" scale), double-locking tremolo bridge, Infinity pickups (HSH configuration), and die-cast tuners. Yellow and Pink color schemes are available.
