Back in the `80s, JEM series kickstarted the legendary RG range, thus giving the world its most popular Superstrat guitar ever. It`s been almost three decades since then and JEM/RG models still rule the scene. JEMJRL is the most recent addition to the Steve Vai JEM/Universe series. It is a lefty model (thus the letter "L" at the end of its name). Solid and double-cut RG body with "monkey handle" is made of mahogany and topped with a classic Steve Vai pickguard. Bolt-on maple neck is a three-piece, equipped with the latest Wizard profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Ibanez Quantum pickups come in HSH configuration and have only the basic controls. Ibanez locking bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
