Steve Vai has been with Ibanez for almost 30 years. His first JEM model served as an inspiration for the world`s best selling metal guitar series ever, the iconic RG. JEM series still lives, still is among the most popular signature series and still inspires millions of players around the world. JEMJR is the current opening model of the JEM/UV range. It comes with a solid, flat-top mahogany body and a bolt-on Wizard III maple neck. Iconic "Monkey Handle" and characteristic pickguard are both there. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets, locking nut. 25-1/2" scale and "Tree of Life" inlays completes the chassis of the Junior JEM. Set of three Quantum pickups (passive/alnico) is found between the standard Edge tremolo bridge and the fingerboard. With price tag of $499, JEMJR is the perfect starting point for inexperienced shredders.
