Excel series is D`Angelico Guitars` middle tier, located between the Premier (opening) and Deluxe (top). It contains both the electric and acoustic models, with price tags hovering around the $1,500 region (Premiers cost around $1,000, Deluxes around $2,000). Excel DC Shoreline is one of only two DCs in the Excel line (the other being the regular DC); it offers semi-hollow body, set-neck construction, combined Grover/Bigsby hardware, and D`Angelico electronics. It comes in Surf Green, Indigo, and White colors.
