Bird Of Prey 2 is practically the same as Bird Of Prey 1, but it`s only visually. Sonic difference is more than obvious, for Bird Of Prey 2 rocks home-made humbuckers. Model No. 1 is equipped with EMG81/85 combo, while this one has active DBZ humbuckers with master volume, master tone and three-way toggle switch. They can also be split with a push-pull switch. Body of this model is made entirely of mahogany, it`s carved and finished in gloss. Bridge section of this model is equipped with a Floyd Rose bridge and locking nut on the opposite side of the 25-1/2" scale. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s set-in and equipped with series standard contour. 24 frets are installed on the ebonized rosewood fingerboard.
