Halcyon series is DBZ`s team in the Superstrat league. It currently features six models in $500-$700 (Zoltan Battory models cost $799.99) range, perfect for the aspiring metalheads who have mastered their beginner guitars. Halcyon FM 7 is a seven-stringed guitar with a long 26-1/2" scale (just 1/2" shy of the standard baritone scale), 24-fret fingerboard and passive Seymour Duncan pickups. The body of this ferocious Halcyon is made of mahogany base and two-piece flamed maple top. The neck is also made of mahogany and it rocks the standard "wide thin" profile. Rosewood fingerboard with block inlays tops the neck. SD`s Pegasus and Sentient pickups occupy the pickup slots, bringing a fat, chunky metal tone. Floyd Rose bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs list.
