Halcyon series deals with modern/classic Soloist guitars and competes in the middle/lower middle class of the market. Halcyon models usually cost between $500 and $700 (Zoltan Bathory`s signature models are $799 a piece). Halcyon ST 7 is one of two seven-stringed Halcyon models (the other one is Halcyon FM 7). It rocks a long 26-1/2" scale, set-in neck construction and passive electronics. The body of this seven-stringed beast is made entirely of mahogany, as is the neck. The body is topped with a big black pickguard, while the neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentient combo delivers a big, thick, classic/modern tone. Floyd Rose bridge and seven Grover tuning machines complete the list of major features.
