Venom FM is an upgrade to the basic Venom guitar and it features sophisticated flamed maple top with all the intricate carvings of the Darkside line of guitars. As all other Venoms, this one is equipped with a V-shaped body made of mahogany. Body is solid and paired with a set-in mahogany neck. The neck on this model is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebonized rosewood. The only inlay is set at the 12th fret. Pickups section on this model features the most popular pair of active humbuckers among metal players, the legendary 81 and 85 from EMG. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch. Bridge section sports a Floyd Rose bridge with double locking nut set at the opposite side of the 25-1/2" scale.
