Custom 750 is a true monster among the novelties Dean Guitars introduced at this year`s NAMM show. It comes with seven strings, fixed bridge, 24 frets and sinister black paint all over the body and headstock. Black hardware just reinforces the strong attitude this model has. Definitely not a guitar made for everyone, for it is closer to a weapon of mass destruction, than to a regular axe. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany base with carved mahogany top. Entire body is painted black and finished in satin. There`s no binding around the top, nor there`s a pickguard on it. Also, there are no other color options available. Neck on this model is made of maple and it features regular C contour in the back. One of the special features of this axe is it`s neck-through-body construction. Bridge section features a seven-saddled tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction. Pickups are EMG 707 humbuckers in both the bridge and neck positions. Fingerboard on this model is a standard one. It`s made of rosewood and it features 24 frets with dot inlays. Custom 12th fret inlay is also featured.
