Evo series offers a wide selection of single-cut guitars similar to Deceiver and Thoroughbred series, with the difference being the orientation. Evo models aim primarily at young players who play modern rock styles. Evo 2000 comes with a classic single-cut body made of alder base and flamed maple top. Alder is not the most frequent body wood for this type of guitars, but it locks pretty well with flame maple top, Dean humbuckers and maple neck. Neck is solid, set in and equipped with the standard C contour in the back. On it`s top, Dean installs a regular 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Frets are marked with dot inlays. Bridge section on this Evo is a standard one, it has a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and a stoptail bar in the back.
