Michael Amott is one of the most important and prominent guitar players of the younger generation. His band Arch Enemy hails from Sweden and rides on the ever-growing wave of melodic death metal bands, blending the Judas Priest and Iron Maiden influences into the harsh and super heavy death metal environment. Michael has earned a signature series with Dean Guitars as one of the most popular guitarists of that genre. Up until the NAMM 2013 Michael`s signature series had four models and now it has six active guitars. One of two novelties introduced into the series is Tyrant Flame Maple. It is a standard-shaped Michael Amott V guitar with mahogany body base and flamed maple top. Body of this model is solid and equipped with a set in joint. Black is the only color scheme available for this model and it comes with high gloss finish. Bridge section features a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Michael`s signature pickups from DMT are installed in the pickups section. Neck is solid and made of mahogany. It features standard C contour in the back with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
