Straight Six series is made up of four models, ML, V, Z, and Cadillac. It is a brand new series in the catalog and it is oriented towards the middle and affordable price ranges. Main feature of it`s models is the headstock. Instead of Dean`s winged headstock, these models feature modern-design streamlined headstocks with six in-line tuners. All four models have standard six strings, standard 22 frets and in-line tuners on modern headstocks. Series opens with ML Straight Six model. It is in every respect one standard ML. It comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany. It`s flat on top and bound in seven layers of binding. Classic black color with high gloss finish is the only one available for this model and is also the signature color scheme for the entire series. Tune-o-matic and the V-shaped plate in the back comprise the bridge section. Strings run through the body on Straight Six models. Pickups are USA DMT design humbuckers with active electronics. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features the C contour in the back. On it`s top Dean installs a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
