Ebony
G-310 is one of several SG guitars with Epiphone badge (SG models are mainly called G in Epiphone catalog) and is a step below the standard G-400 class. Nonetheless, it is equipped with quality tonewoods and pretty good hardware & electronics.
Like all SG guitars in Gibson/Epiphone family, G-31 LH has a solid, double-cut body with beveled top. The body is made of mahogany, as is the neck. Black-clad body is topped with a black plastic pickguard and a standard set of hardware and electronics. D-shaped Mahogany neck is, on the other side, topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Pickups segment includes a 700T humbucker in the bridge and 650R in the neck position. Two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way pickup selector complete the controls. Two-piece bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
