Members of Whitechappel stepped up and joined the ESP legions of signature artists, and they come with three guitars and one bass. These models were featured at ESP booth at NAMM Show this year. Along with AW-7, there are two more guitars and a bass. AW-7 is a Alex Wade-s signature and it is a solid bodied, double cutaway model with a flat top and body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. This soloist shaped guitar features no binding around it`s blood red sunburst painted top. But, there`s a black Strat-reminiscent pickguard featured. In the bridge Alex and ESP opted for a hardtail bridge with a string-through-body construction. The bridge is, as all of the hardware on this guitar, plated in black. DiMarzio supplies the pickups, and they are D-Activator passive humbuckers in both bridge and neck positions. Controls include master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. The neck is made of maple and equipped with a thin U contour and neck-through-body construction. The ebony fingerboard is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets, no position inlays whatsoever and 1.89" wide standard string nut. 25-1/2" scale and ESP locking tuners complete the specs.
