EC Frazetta is an affordable, yet very exclusive guitar. It is a tribute to the legendary comic books author, Frank Frazetta and only 50 copies will be made before the model is discontinued. Solid and single-cut body of this model is taken from the standard EC series, which means it`s back and carved top are all made of mahogany. It is a several-piece body (some of the exclusive and expensive guitars have one-piece bodies, which tremendously helps sustain and tone quality). There`s only one color option for this model, the black base with Frank Frazetta`s "Beauty and the Beast" graphic on top. It is finished in gloss and contrasted with gold-plated hardware. Two-piece bridge unit is also taken over from the regular Eclipse series, as it includes a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and a stoptail bar in the back. ESP-Designed humbuckers in the front are active and have a standard controls unit (vol/vol/tone and a three-way toggle switch). Neck is also made of mahogany and it`s bolted to the body. It has the common thin U contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
