Eclipse II is now available with Seymour Duncan pickups and silver sparkle visual treatment. This model was introduced at NAMM 2012 and is ready for the new season. Since it is placed within the Eclipse II series, lot of features and appointments are the same as on other Eclipse models. For starters, mahogany back is paired with a carved and bound maple top. with the overall silver sparkle theme, both binding and top are painted in this color. There are no other color options available for an Eclipse with Duncans. Also, pickguard is omitted from the list of the specs. The bridge is provided by Gotoh and it is a chrome plated tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar. In the pickup department, Seymour Duncan JB humbucker occupies the bridge, and '59 sits in the neck position. They are controlled through a standard Eclipse layout of split volume controls, master tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch. The neck is made of mahogany and equipped with a thin U contour and set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of ebony, which is another series standard, and sports 22 extra jumbo sized frets, flag position inlays and 1.65" wide bone nut. Chrome plated hardware, 24-3/4" scale and Gotoh Magnum tuners finish the specs.
