E-II range is one of the exclusive segments of the ESP catalog. It`s role is to provide a solution for players who want to replace their LTD or skip the introductory range altogether, but are not ready to pay four, five thousand dollars or even more. E-II is equipped with a huge variety of models, to make sure players of all profiles get satisfied. For 2016, ESP has heavily updated and the E-II lineup and one of the models introduced is the mighty E-II EC BB. With Black Satin finish, chrome hardware, active EMG electronics and short 24-3/4" scale, EC BB is ready to maim and kill at command. E-II EC BB starts off with a solid and single-cut body made of mahogany base and carved maple top. Set-thru maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and equipped with Thin U profile in the back. On its top, there is a 22-fret ebony fingerboard (flag inlays, 1.65" bone nut and 12" radius). EMG`s Brushed Chrome 81 and 60 fill the bridge and neck positions, respectively, and bring a wall of metal tone. All the legendary growl and ferocity of an 81, combined with 60`s modern/classic bite in one pack mean this beast cuts through any mix out there. Two-piece bridge unit and locking Gotoh tuners complete the specs list.
