Gus G. is a long time member of the ESP signature artist family and one of the most popular Europeans at that. Previous incarnations of his signature line were very popular among the players of classic heavy metal and modern hard & heavy styles. For 2015, Gus and ESP revive the most popular models in a new four-piece lineup. Gus G. EC is one of two ESP models on the roster. It comes with a solid and single cut body made entirely of mahogany (both the thick back and carved top are made of mahogany) and set-thru maple neck. Black Satin is the name of the series` standard color scheme which includes satin black paint job, black hardware (only the pickups have white coils) and pearl binding. Traditional two-piece bridge unit is featured on the top. Pickups department features a pair of mighty Seymour Duncan AHB-11 active humbuckers with a super simple controls unit (master volume knob with a three-way toggle pickup switch). Maple neck s fit with a standard thin U profile in the back. 22-fret fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood and features a set of elegant flag inlays. Sperzel tuners on the headstock complete the specs list.
