EC-2015 40th Anniversary is a part of the four-piece limited edition series ESP has issued in celebration of four decades in guitar business. This is, quite possibly, the finest six-string with an LTD badge around. Super handsome Eclipse single-cut body is made of the standard mahogany base and a gorgeous quilt maple top. Classic Eclipse series curve on the top and multi-layered pearl binding around its edges enhance the beauty of the See Through Black Satin color scheme. following the cue, hardware and pickup covers feature the awesome black chrome plating with satin finish. Bridge unit on the top is the TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stoptail bar behind it. Pickups installed in its front are EMG`s 57 in the bridge and 66 in the neck position. Simple three-piece set of controls comes along with them. Two volume knobs and the master tone are followed by a standard three-way toggle pickup switch. Set in mahogany neck is fit with the super thin and fast U profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Classic ESP flag inlays with a 40th anniversary inlay at the 12th fret mark the fingerboard. Regular locking LTD machine heads on the headstock wrap the specs list.
