Solo-II is one of five models introduced into the opening lineup of the brand new Platinum series. Satin-finished paint jobs, powerful EMG pickups, modern/classic styling and professional level of build quality secure this series a very bright future. Solo-II Platinum Left Handed kicks off with a solid mahogany base with a carved maple top. This age old combination is one of the most popular wood pairings for the solid guitar bodies as mahogany provides the strength and depth, while the maple adds just the right amount of crisp and definition. Bound top is fit with a classic two-piece bridge unit and also classic EMG combo. 57 in the bridge and 66 in the neck position give a big, muscular tone best suited for hard rock and classic heavy metal. Vol/vol/tone/3-way toggle switch is the lineup of the simple controls unit. To reinforce the vintage vibe of the Platinum series, Schecter throws in a plastic pickguard made in LP style. Three-piece maple neck brings us back to the Schecter turf with the famous thin C profile in the back and 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Schecter`s locking tuners featured on the headstock wrap up the specs list.
