Schecter`s Solo concept is a tribute to the iconic Les Paul, the second most important single-cut guitar to ever appear on the market (second only to the grandfather of solid guitars - legendary Telecaster). Solo-II is an upgraded version for the 21st century and is, along with the C (C-1, C-7, C-8, C-9), V, PT and Tempest, one of the pillars of the Schecter catalog. With the brand new Platinum series (introduced at 2015 NAMM), Solo-II range got richer for the marvelous Solo-II Platinum. Solid, single-cut rocker is made in Satin Black and Satin Silver (black variant features chrome hardware, while the silver Solo-II Platinum has the black knobs and bridge) with both variants being made of mahogany base and plain maple top. Age old bridge combo includes the tune-o-matic bridge in the front with stoptail bar in the back. EMG`s 57 and 66 give this beauty a powerful, well defined tone made for full-on rock`n`roll experience. Three-piece maple neck is glued to the body and features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Schecter`s locking tuners are found on the headstock. Expected MSRP for this gem is around $1,000 mark.
