Kirk Hammett is a man who needs no introduction among both the fans and peers, alike. His signature series is, along with James Hetfield`s, one of the most popular and most enduring signature lines in the entire ESP catalog. For 2015, two new models are being introduced into the series lineup and KH-202 is one of them (lefty version of this awesome LTD six-string is the other one). KH-202 kicks off with a solid, double-cut body made of basswood (the standard body wood in both the regular and signature segments of the LTD catalog), extra thin maple neck and ESP/LTD hardware & electronics. Solid and flat body of this model is offered only in traditional black color - simple, neat, yet menacing. Floyd Rose Special bridge is featured on the top, while in its front, ESP Designed humubuckers are featured. LH-301 bridge and neck pickups are used instead of the omni-present LH-150 `buckers. Two volume knobs, one tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Super thin maple neck is fast and comfortable, granting the lightning speed to more experienced players. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with skull & crossbones inlays and LTD tuners on the reversed headstock wrap up the list of core specs for the brand new KH-202.
