Soulfly`s frontman and rhythm guitarist Max Cavalera is one of ESP`s most prominent endorsers and signature artists. His current series features two models, one 200 LTD RPR and this one. Max Cavalera RPR is an ESP model, a top-tier signature axe made after Max`s personal preferences and instructions. RPR is a rather simple, menacing metal machine; it features solid and beveled mahogany wings, three-piece through-body maple neck and a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard. The body (as well as the headstock) is covered with Black Desert Camo paint job w/black hardware and satin finish. The neck sports the popular Thin U profile, while the fingerboard is adorned with customized inlays. Major hardware and electronics features include a two-piece top-load bridge, Gotoh tuners and a single Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker in bridge position.
