TE series is a line of single-cut guitars made for players who have a taste for classic Fender guitars, but want them in modern, battle-ready mode. TE series draws its inspiration from the classic Telecaster and adds hallmark ESP features and tone to the mix. In 2016, LTD`s side of TE series will be reinforced with several models and TE-401 is one of them. This six-string beast rocks pretty subdued single-cut styling, active electronics, hardtail bridge, 24-fret fingerboard and set-thru construction (an intermediate solution between the neck-through-body and set neck variants).
TE-401`s body is solid, single-cut and flat. It is made of mahogany and is paired with a super fast maple neck. Three-piece neck rocks the Thin U profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. The fingerboard features XJ frets, offset dot inlays, 1.65" molded nut and 13.77" radius.
Pickups department contains the popular EMG 81/60 set which is bound to satisfy even the most discerning metal players. hammering rhythm duties, scorching lead work, subtle harmonies and crystal clear cleans are all there, making up for one of the best EMG experiences available. String-through hardtail bridge and Grover tuners keep up with the rest of the high-profile specs list.
