Ted Aguilar is a long-time guitar player of California`s thrash legends, Death Angel. His fret wizardry has made recent albums even more ferocious and gut wrenching. For 2016, ESP and Ted have designed and made the sinister LTD TED-600 model. Don`t let the Snow White color scheme fool you, this demon was conjured straight from the deepest pits of hell. TED-600 comes with a well known Eclipse (EC on the LTD side of the catalog) body with a carved top and generous cutaway. The body is made of mahogany back and maple top, and is paired with a deep-set mahogany neck (three-piece neck). The neck is fast and easy to play. It features a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (extra jumbo frets, dot inlays and `.65" molded string nut are featured on the fingerboard). Pickups section is equipped with EMG`s classic 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck position. These two devils are, of course, active and bring all that extra metal growl they`re notorious for. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch comprise a simple and effective controls unit. String-through tune-o-matic bridge and LTD locking tuners complete the quite impressive specs list.
