LTD`s TL concept (stands for Thinline) deals with stage and performance-oriented acoustic-electric guitars. Super thin bodies, fast necks and contoured neck joints make them perfect for electric guitar players who need acoustic support on stage.
TL-12 is a 12-string acoustic-electric guitar with thinline body contour and set-in neck. The body is made of mahogany back/sides and maple top (tonewood selection resembles that of popular LTD electric guitars) and features white binding around the top. Three-piece mahogany neck is glued in at 16th fret and sports the famous Thin U profile. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard has the same measurements as ones on regular 7-string electric models.
Fishman`s Sonicore pickup/preamp system, belly-contoured rosewood bridge and Grover tuners complete this axe.
