TL series offers a selection of (currently) five thinline acoustic-electric models which are made mainly for on-stage usage. Four of them are six-stringed, with one twelve stringer being present as well. All TL models have small, thin bodies, fast necks and fingerboards taken over from electric range.
TL-6 is the series basic/standard model; it comes in two main variants - Black and Natural. The main difference between the two is the top material, Black sports maple top and Natural has traditional spruce top. Other than that, the two are identical. Both have three-piece mahogany necks with Thin U profiles in the back and 22-fret rosewood fingerboards on top.
TL-6 also features a belly-shaped rosewood bridge, Fishman Sonicore pickup/preamp system and Grover tuners.
