LTD`s new Black Metal series is there for all the players who seek additional growl and snarl, who find even the regular 400/1000 models not aggressive enough. The initial lineup includes several (mostly short-scaled) models, including the Viper-7-Black metal as its only seven-string option. Viper-7-Black Metal comes in with a stealthy Black Satin livery, matched with black hardware, black plastics, and black headstock. Main construction features include a solid and beveled mahogany body (set-thru neck joint, no pickguard, no binding), a 3-piece mahogany neck (Thin U profile, smooth finish), a 24-fret fingerboard made of Macassar ebony (extra jumbo frets, side dot markers, 25.5" scale, 15.75" radius, 1.89" string nut), TOM bridge (w/stoptail bar), Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter humbucker, and locking LTD tuners.
