However, in recent years ESP has been focused on diversification of the catalog, bringing in the first acoustics and hollow-bodied guitars and basses. This trend gives ESP more of an all-round image, while the bulk of the catalog still remains deeply rooted within the heavy music. Xtone is ESP`s range of hollow and semi-hollow guitars. It`s Pa-1 MF is a single-cut guitar with mahogany back/sides and flamed maple top. Rosewood bridge is featured on the top instead of the standard tune-o-matic/stoptail combo. Piezo pickups are featured beneath the sound board. Maple neck is set in and is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
