At first sight, it might seem that the Cabronita concept brings nothing more than stripped down versions of Fender`s regular models. But, when the sceptics decide to pick up a Cabronita and give it a go, they`re headed straight for the life-long love. Fender`s solid-bodied guitars made of alder and maple create a fantastic base for TV Jones humbuckers. For 2013, Fender`s Custom Shop has prepared a set of five Limited models, of which, two are Cabronitas. One of them is La Cabronita 'Luchador' Stratocaster. Select alder body is solid, double-cut and paired with a maple neck. String-through bridge is a hardtail with chrome plating and six adjustable saddles. There`s only one pickup on this model, it`s a TV Jones PowerTron humbucker in the bridge position. Master volume and master Greasebucket tone knobs are featured in controls unit. White parchment pickguard is set against the glossy black color of the body. Bolt-on maple neck has C contour in the back and a 21-fret fingerboard on top. 6105-sized frets, black dot inlays and 9.50" radius complete the worn maple fingerboard. Tele headstock on this exclusive Strat has six die-cast Sperzel tuning machines. The MSRP is set at $5,400.
