Mayfield Pro models represent the second of three tiers in Mayfield lineup. Basic one is the Legacy and top level is occupied by Custom models. Pro section is further divided into mahogany and maple models. Mayfield Pro Maple Left Handed comes with a body made entirely of maple and a maple neck. Sides on the body are made of solid wood, while the top and back come laminated. The bridge section on this model is made up of tune-o-matic/stoptail combo with chrome plating. In the pickups department Seymour Duncan delivers two active humbuckers. Split volume and tone controls are accompanied by a three-way toggle switch. Maple neck is set and covered with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 jumbo frets, white dot inlays and 1.653" wide black TUSQ nut wrap the fingerboard specs.
