1954 Les Paul was, and still is, one of the most popular LPs ever built. It had the distinguished black tie appearance and powerful P-90s, as then in 1954 there were no humbuckers. 1954 Custom VOS replicates it to the detail. Body of this LP comes made of mahogany back and maple top. Top is made of plain maple, as flamed and quilt maple options were not introduced until some time later. Top on this one is bound in creme binding and fit with black plastic pickguard. Bridge section features a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. P-90 pickups are installed on this model and are equipped with a standard controls unit. Mahogany neck is set in and fit with '50s contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
