In Les Paul dictionary, words Junior and Special mean entry level models with stripped down specs lists. Juniors were introduced in the 1950s and remained integral part of the catalog to this very day. Despite them being made as entry level guitars, Juniors found their way to the big scene, as they became main guitars of some of the most popular guitarists of 1950s, '60s and '70s. This particular model is a tribute to the 1957 LP junior and it comes with a solid, double cut body made of mahogany. There is no top wood, nor there are luxurious decorations. This model is equipped with stoptail bridge and P-90 single coil pickup in the bridge position. Mahogany neck is set-in and topped with a regular 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
