1957 was the turning point in the history of electric guitars, it`s when Seth Lover`s humbucking pickups went into mass production with 1957 Gibson Les Paul. Besides the marvelous new pickups, this model remained player`s favorite for the exceptional build quality, as well. Pickups installed on this reissue are Burstbuckers, as direct and rightful successors of the original PAFs. VOS emblem guarantees period correct materials and appointments. Therefore, this beauty comes with a solid mahogany back and carved maple top. Creme binding and nitrocellulose gloss finish complete the top. Tune-o-matic bridge is plated in chrome and paired with a stoptail bar in the back. One-piece mahogany neck is equipped with '50s contour and gloss finish. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood. Vintage tuners on the headstock are plated in nickel.
