Reissue models are very popular today, as they bring the voice and taste of the times long gone. Gibson`s Custom division is one of the best brands in that field and this time around 1958 Les Paul is being reissued with VOS treatment. Body of this model comes with historically accurate contour and it`s made of mahogany back with plain maple top. Top is carved and bound in creme binding. On top of the body Gibson installs tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail bar in the back. Pickups department is equipped with Burstbucker 2 in the bridge and Burstbucker 1 in the neck. They are controlled through the standard electronics unit. Neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and it features `50s contour. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
