This double-cut LP easily qualifies as one of the most elegant Les Pauls ever made. It is made with glossy ebony finish with a gold-plated rose inlay behind the bridge. Rest of the hardware is also plated in gold and it beautifully contrasts the black color of the wood. Body is solid, double cut and made of mahogany. There are no top wood covers and bindings on this one. Bridge section is equipped with a standard tune-o-matic/stoptail combo with top-load construction. Gibson Custom installs a pair of active P-90 single coils with classic controls unit. Separate volume and tone controls are accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. One-piece mahogany neck is made with '50s contour and mortise & tenon joint. It is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
