Melvyn Franks 1959 Les Paul is one of Collector`s Choice models, along with Peter Green and Gary Moore models. This one is based upon the 1959 LP with Butterscotch color scheme. It is finished in high gloss and back and sides are painted in dark brown, which was a standard thing back in 1959. This splendid LP is made with mahogany back beneath the flamed maple top. Top panel is made of two pieces of wood and it`s bookmatched. Pickups are Burstbucker 3 in the neck with Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position. They come with a standard controls unit with split volume and tone knobs. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s equipped with '50s contour and it is topped with a regular 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
