Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick is one of true legends and most notable champions of Les Paul. His devotion to the classic instrument is several decades long and has been one of the key ingredients in Cheap Trick`s distinctive tone. Limited Run Rick Nielsen`s 1959 Les Paul Replicated is a run model Gibson Custom made in cooperation with Rick. With a price tag of $8,599, this is one of the more expensive members of the Limited Run lineup. Needless to say, Gibson Custom has recreated Rick`s own 1959 down to the smallest detail, including the ever elusive classic PAFs. Main features include one-piece mahogany body (no weight relief), hand-picked flame maple top, one-piece mahogany neck (with correct profile and measurements), one-piece rosewood fingerboard (with `59 measures and inlays) and Custom Bucker (custom-wound) pickups. Color options include Aged & Signed (50 pieces), Aged and Vintage Gloss.
