SG Standard Historic Reissue is a model made by Gibson Custom and it represents an early Gibson SG Standard as it was back in the day. Body of this model is made of mahogany in it`s entirety. There are no top wood covers, or binding around the top. Top is flat, finished in gloss and it`s covered with a plastic pickguard. Faded Cherry is the only color option for this six-string axe. Burstbucker pickups on this model continue tradition of dual humbuckers with active electronics on Gibson and Gibson Custom models. They come with separate volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany neck is fit with '60s contour and set-in joint. It`s topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
